When purchasing my New Balance athletic shoes, I went from my usual 8-1/2 to 9-1/2 because I kept feeling my toe at the end. The shoes felt fine at the store. The next day I wore them while working and within an hour, the big toe on both feet began to go numb. I loosened the laces but it didn’t help. I don’t feel I can return them after wearing them all day. Would inserts help? What caused this? My feet were sore for hours after I got home. Never had this problem with my Wal-Mart tennies.
