Ladies, when wearing dress shoes with nylons, is it easier to keep high heels on or low heels?

I am really curious if high heels are harder to keep on your feet or low heels. When going up or down stairs or walking fast, do you find you are more prone to losing your shoes when you wear heels, or flats?

This is not a comfort question. I just want to know how easy it is for your shoes to slip off while walking. (Does your foot slide forward in your heels causing them to slip off, or be more secure? Or does your heel pull out of your flat shoes causing them to slip right off?)

If your shoes are a proper fit they shouldn’t slip off at all.

I find that for myself they both slip off just as much. However, it is easier to slip back into a flat. And if the high heel has a strap instead of a full back, it is slipping off all of the time.

There are several types of high heels and several types of nlons. Either way, your best bet is putting a gel heel cushion in the back of the shoe.(Not on your heel)

I wear 5″ heels all of the time with pantyhose, I have never had a problem with the heels slipping off

They are almost all equal and should all fit the foot perfectly.
If you look at a high heel you will see there is far more material around the heel, keeping it tight and well in position, almost possibly more than any flat shoe. Its is sometimes harder to remove high heels after wearing because the fit is far more snug than a flat shoe. Nylons should even things out between low and high heels, but are slipperier to start when wearing that day.
