High Heel Shoes

High Heel Shoes – a status symbol for the elite, a few more inches of height for the petites, a fashion fad for the style conscious and a sex symbol for divas. Femmes have very different and sometimes absolutely whimsical reasons for purchasing that latest daring and sometimes damn uncomfortable heels that may have hit the market, but buy they must.

It sometimes occurs to me that women have some sort of undiscovered gene that tells them they owe a livelihood to their neighbourhood podiatrist. Perhaps this is what crazily drives them towards those killer high heels shoes!

Types of High Heel Shoes

Let’s keep jokes and the ladies apart for a while and take a closer look at these high heel shoes. You will be astonished to observe the aesthetic appeal of the heels themselves and will be stunned to note how the manufacturers have categorized them into distinct categories. Based on these heels, high heels shoes are classified further. Listed here are the prominent types of high heel shoes for your knowledge –

Kitten heel – A kitten heel has a short, slender heel, usually from 1.5″ to 2″ high with a slight curve. This type of heel is particularly common on sandals.
Stiletto high heels – Also called “spike” or “spiked” heels, a stiletto heel is a long, thin heel which may vary in length from only a few centimeters up to 18 cm (7 inches).
Spool heel – A spool heel is wide at the top and bottom and narrower in the middle.
Stacked heel – This one has a few materials stacked on top of each other.
Wedge heel – A wedge high heel runs under the foot, from the back of the shoe to the middle or front.
Court shoes – Court shoes are a ladies low cut ’slip on’ shoes with the heel ranging typically from 1 to 4.5 inches.

Sexy Shoes

Did you find yourself mesmerized while watching and feeling the cut, shape and the aesthetic appeal of the high heel shoes? I am sure you were when you visited the shoe store last time. So can’t we say that woman’s shoes have a huge sex appeal of their own? I bet you will agree. But I am sure women don’t buy sexy shoes simply because they were attracted to them. Rather they buy a pair because they feel that particular shoes will make them look sexy!!

Sexy High Heels

Let’s now unravel how sexy high heels makes a woman appear and also feel sensual.

– To start with, a pair of sexy high heel shoes elongates the lines of the legs and makes them appear slimmer and longer. – It changes a woman’s stance and gait in a seductive fashion as the height of the heel alters the wearer’s center of balance, creating a walk that makes the hips sway and the bottom protrude. – High heels also make the wearer look taller and slimmer, creating an air of confidence and sophistication which is, in itself, sexy.

Platform Shoes

Hmm, the advantages of heels are alluring but what is there for you if those sexy stilettos make you wobble despite of your best efforts to walk in them? Don’t be deterred, there are still options for you. Cute and smart platform shoes are back in fashion. The usual three to four inches platform shoes are much more comfortable to strut in with their thick soles. Higher ones of course, require a lot more practice and are typically worn by those in the adult entertainment industry.

Now, with all this knowledge on women’s shoes I am sure you will pay a lot more attention towards the aesthetic appeal of the women’s high heel shoes and what is secretly being conveyed by the woman wearing those shoes.

You won’t find a good quality, but I’m pretty sure they won’t run more than $20. Maybe you should try Ross, or TJ Maxx for a slightly better quality. Also DSW has really cut shoes at bargain prices.
You can also go to a flea market.. I’ve bought some gold shoes for like $20, I’ve had them for like 2 years and still very shiny and metallic. You never know what you will find.. just shop around.

You can get them really cheap. I’ve seen as low as $14.99. Some of them are kind of cute. But remember, you get what you pay for. In my experience, the shoes I get there smell more after awhile than the better quality ones and I find that they don’t last as long. Kohl’s and Famous Footwear are a little more expensive but the quality is better.
