Why do so many spectators at kids soccer games kick off their shoes and walk along the sidelines barefoot?

Wheneer I go see my little brother play soccer, a number of people, mainly women, always are running around the sidelines not wearing shoes.

Do you notice this too? What’s the deal?
This occurs in the summer and fall.
Don’t those people know that the soles of their feet will get all grassy and dirty?

It’s always fun to put your feet in the grass!

I guess I never realized this- but you’re right. I would love to tell you that it’s because it provides some sort of physically balancing effect that is unexperienceable by any other means… but that wouldn’t be completely true. I think there are a few reasons it could be though:
    (1) we want to appear ‘one’ with the earth
    (2) we have on nice nail polish
    (3) we needed an excuse to take off the shoes we wore thinking we had someone to impress at the game
    (4) yes, we love the feeling of grass
    (5) we don’t even realize we do it… thanks for letting me know.

Why do men always oogle at women with big breasts whenever they walk by?

Some people think it’s cool to be casual.

Because walking in grass barefoot feels great.

And soap and water will remove the dirt and grass nicely.

I notice it, but then again I am also one of those spectators who walk along the sidelines barefoot as well. It feels great to walk in bare feet on the grass and it is very comfortable.
