Why do parents allow their kids to wear and use shoes with rollerskates on them inside of stores?

Store are dangerous places with support beams, displays, people pushing buggies, children, etc.. I always seek kids flying through the aisles on these shoes with embedded skates on them. I’ve seen parents next to them so they know that their kids are doing it. Why do parents allow kids to endanger themselves and others by using these in stores? Why don’t stores ban them? I would think that there would be a liability risk.

yah i agree. its like danger is awaiting to happen any moment right?

i dont buy it and even opt for a present.

I think they should be banned also. Not only are they dangerous in a mall, but kids need to walk and get their daily amount of exercise and not be so lazy.

Those shoes are sooooo irritating! The invention of them are neat, but they’re not meant to be used in public common places. I 100% agree with you.

I dont’ even think they should sell those shoes! Why encourage kids to skate anywhere they can? These are too dangerous, especially since kids lack the judgment to know where they should and shouldn’t skate.
Skating should only be done in safe places, which is why they have rinks! There you have to go and put on skates, and when you leave, you take the skates off! There you have built-in control. No skating where it is unsafe or unsupervised.
I will never let my kids have these shoes!

I believe there are three reasons why you see so many kids wheeling around with the sneakers that have wheels in the sole. First, some parents are oblivious to their children’s poor behavior. It’s not that the kids are bad kids it is just the parents don’t seem to know how to teach their children proper etiquette and behavior. Second, some parents just don’t care. If the kids are whizzing around the store that means they are not bothering the parents while they shop. Third, some parents probably have disciplined their children not to wheel around inside stores but the kids keep doing it. Sometimes kids act that way and need to be corrected a few more times.

because todays parents seem to have a serious lack of consideration for other people. if they cannot controll their children they shouldn’t of have any.

unfortunatley, in todays society, most parents dont think about the possible injuries that can oocur and how it disturbs other customers. I’ve had kids run into me in stores and places already with them….

I have no clue why any parent lets their child ever wear them! I almost positive that it’s bad for your knees and especially when you’re still growing. I just don’t get it!
