When she's outside, she has soft leather moccassins that protect her feet but don't make it difficult to walk. I hated dress shoes when I was younger. They're uncomfortable. If there are a lot of kids at these places--they often wind up taking their shoes off and running around--probably because most of them are not used to wearing dress shoes for a long time!! But no-not to school..if they are wearing dress shoes--hmmm..I think we try to use dress socks--but if those aren't available--if they are lost--well--plain black socks that go with sneakers work fine too...because no one is really checking... I put socks on with them. As my girls are all under 3 then during the week to nursery they wear their trainners. When they do go to school I will get them a decent pair of school shoes but I wouldnt pay for a really expensive pair for school as their feet grow really quickly my children do on nice summer days and at weekends or if we are visiting family or going somewhere special.
