I’m off to New York and Washington on a school trip this Feb, and really need some advice on what shoes to take! I don’t want to take too many pairs, maybe a couple: e.g. nice going out shoes and walking around shoes. We are going to be doing a LOT of walking.
I’m not the hugest fan of walking boots, and a pair or warm, waterproof COMFORTABLE shoes are what I’m looking for!
I would desperately appreciate some help
You dont really need anything special unless the weather is bad to be honest- tennis shoes are fine. Boots arent really needed, again unless the weather is calling for snow or rain.
What shoes/boots are good to wear in New York in february?

UGG (or EMU) if the price is in your budget.
A store is in SOHO and another in the Upper West Side. Other places that you may seek out are Bloomingdale’s, Saks and Macy’s.

My friend, sneaker will do. It does not need to be fashionable, it just have to be comfortable.

Both NYC and DC get cold and snowy in February, so wear comfortable warm shoes that are good for walking. Toewarmers, a Canadian company, makes shoes that will keep your feet warm, if not totally dry.

Bring tennis shoes. And in case of snow or rain bring rain/snow boots with u. Good luck!
